About me

Rosemary Talbot New in CambridgeCambridge resident, baker of cakes, fair weather gardener, singer (alto), dancer (tap), tea aficionado.

This beautiful, vibrant city is a really exciting place to live in or visit.  There’s always lots going on and new stuff is happening all the time.

So to keep up with it all, I’ve created this blog about what’s new in Cambridge. Whether you’ve lived here for years, have just moved in or are visiting our wonderful city, I hope you’ll find it interesting and useful, maybe even a little bit entertaining.

And for up to the minute news about what’s happening here in Cambridge, follow me on social media:

I sometimes write for other people too.  Recent commissions have included “The Cambridge Scene” column in Eastlife magazine, the “New in Cambridge” column in Velvet magazine and a foodie piece for Cambridge News.  In a new project for 2019, I also write a regular blog for Cambridge Cyrenians who provide a range of accommodation, support and specialist services for homeless men and women in the city.  You can read more on https://cambridgecyrenians.org.uk/blog/

Please do get in touch with your comments through the Contact page and if there’s something or somewhere new that you think I’d like to write about or feature in the monthly “What’s On” listing, I’ll be happy to hear from you.
